Note:

  1. Higher product latencies for:

    1. OMPS-Suomi NPP from 19 Mar to 25 Mar 2023, for unknown reasons.

    2. VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Atmosphere) on 19 to 23 except 21 Mar 2023 and VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Atmosphere) on 20 and 22 Mar 2023, due to delays caused by EDOS upgrade. Cloud mask also had issues causing delays.

    3. VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Land) and VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Land) on 22 to 23 Mar 2023, due to an EDOS upgrade that caused product delays. There was also an outage in data in the NRT system which was resolved 23 Mar 2023.

  2. No LIS-ISS reported in the plot due to an error in our metrics system.

Note:

  1. Latency for a data granule is defined as the time taken from the midpoint between the start and end of acquisition of the data for that granule to the granule’s being ready on-line for users to download.
  2. Duration covered by the data for a granule is defined differently for different instruments (e.g., MODIS granules are 5 minutes long while OMI NRT granules are 13 to 136 minutes long).
  3. Over the last four weeks, over 95% of NRT data requests for all instruments except for eight instruments (MODIS-AQUA, MODIS-TERRA, OMI-AURA, OMPS-Suomi NPP, VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Land), VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Land), VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Atmosphere), and VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Atmosphere)) were satisfied within 3 hours. For MODIS-AQUA, MODIS-TERRA, OMI-AURA, OMPS-Suomi NPP, VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Land), VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Land), VIIRS-JPSS-1 (Atmosphere), and VIIRS-Suomi NPP (Atmosphere) over 85%, 81%, 92%, 85%, 83%, 69%, 76%, and 76% of the NRT data requests were satisfied within 3 hours, respectively.
