SeaDAS is free and publicly available software developed by NASA which enables users from their standard desktop and laptop computers to process, visualize, and analyze remote-sensing data.

The aim of this webinar is to bring to scientists, students, and the general public an awareness of SeaWiFS Data Analysis System (SeaDAS) as well as, to increase awareness of NASA's publicly available remotely-sensed data. During this webinar, we will demonstrate some of the capabilities of SeaDAS along with the types of studies and results one might expect to achieve. Emphasis on SeaDASʼs ease-of-use will be stressed along with its capabilities for more complex operations.

Though this will not be a detailed how-to tutorial, this webinar will provide participants, whether they be new or existing users, with an understanding of what can be accomplished and point them to the available help and support resources.
