A new Earthdata Search Portal for the Satellite Needs Working Group (SNWG) provides rapid access to 54 data collections that have a relation to the SNWG.
The SNWG partners with Federal agencies to identify high priority sustained and unmet needs for satellite Earth observations. These needs are identified through a biennial survey conducted by the SNWG. Data products included in the Earthdata Search SNWG Portal were created to meet these identified needs, and include data products from the Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 (HLS) project, the Observational Products for End-Users from Remote Sensing Analysis (OPERA) project, and NASA's Ice, Clouds, and Land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) mission.
NASA's Earthdata Search provides easy-to-use access to NASA Earth science data discovery, filtering, and visualization. More than a dozen Earthdata Search Portals enable users to narrow search results to a particular area of interest (such as artificial intelligence/machine learning), project (such as the Arctic-Boreal Vulnerability Experiment, ABoVE), or organization (like SNWG).
The SNWG Management Office (SNWG-MO) is part of NASA's Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT), which is a component of NASA’s Earth Science Data Systems (ESDS) Program.
