MOPITT Anomaly: On August 11, 2024, at approximately 19:00 UTC, the Terra Measurement of Pollution in The Troposphere (MOPITT) Pressure Modulation Cell 2 (PMC-2) motor current and amplitude started to fluctuate, corrupting science. MOPITT remains in Science Mode however, science is degraded with PMC-2 turned off. Terra spacecraft and other instruments continue to operate nominally.
