As of August 29, 2022, NOAA has completed their evaluation and has approved SNPP VIIRS, OMPS, CrIS, and ATMS products for operations. The tentative date for CERES to generate data products is 09/01/2022. CERES’s return to operations will complete the SNPP product recovery for this event. Please update any announcements/notifications to your user community as appropriate.
Delivery of Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite data products will cease on November 1, 2026. Data users should transition now to alternative products from NOAA-21 and NOAA-20.
