PACE Community:
The PACE Science Data Segment completed a reprocessing of the SPEXone and HARP2 Level-2 and Level-3 products on August 14th, 2026. This V4 reprocessing utilizes the previously-released V4 Level-1C products from HARP2 and SPEXone, as well as advancements in processing algorithms, to significantly improve performance of the geophysical retrievals. In addition, this reprocessing includes the first release of land properties and aerosol optical properties over land from the FastMAPOL algorithm. All data is now available from EarthDataCloud. The new and updated collections include:
- SPEXone Level-3 Land Optical Properties, RemoTAP Algorithm
- SPEXone Level-3 Ocean Optical Properties, RemoTAP Algorithm
Release notes are available at the link below, and will be updated within the next few days to reflect the algorithm updates:
All previous V3 products for SPEXone and HARP2 (Level 1-3) are still available from NASA EarthDataCloud. They will be removed from distribution no sooner than14 November 2026, to allow time for user transition.
