During this time, email alerts and active fire data downloads will not be available using https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/. If active fire data downloads are required during this period, please visit https://firms2.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/.
Delivery of Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite data products will cease on November 1, 2026. Data users should transition now to alternative products from NOAA-21 and NOAA-20.
