On Jan 11, 2023, the Remote Sensing System (RSS) stopped producing and delivering both the AMSR2-REMSS-L2P-v8a (doi:10.5067/GHAM2-2PR8A) and AMSR2-REMSS-L3U-v8a (doi:10.5067/GHAM2-3UR8A) datasets, which are currently distributed through the NASA Earthdata Cloud.
In the next few weeks, the updated Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2) L2P v8.2 datasets will be released directly from the NASA Earthdata Cloud. Users will be notified with a release announcement when the datasets are available. In the meantime, the new AMSR2 L2P data are available on the Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) Drive for a limited time. Users can access them with the legacy Drive link.
