NASA's Ocean Biology Distributed Active Archive Center (OB.DAAC) released the Sea, earth, atmosphere Data Analysis System (SeaDAS) version 8.3.0.

Highlights of what's new to SeaDAS 8.3.0:
- Major revision to Statistics Tool.
- Masking functionality added to Reproject Tool.
- Supports: Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE)-Ocean Color Instrument (OCI) L1C files, SPEXOne files, Hyper-Angular Rainbow Polarimeter #2 (HARP2) L1C files and National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) files.
- OB.DAAC Level3 mapped file reader added.
- A Docker image is used to facilitate OCSSW package installation and processing.
- Fixes L2gen GUI bugs and other bugs.
- SeaDAS 8.3.0 is now considered to have essentially all the tools and capabilities of its predecessor, SeaDAS 7.5.3 (which will no longer be supported).
- SeaDAS 8.3.0 uses a modification of ESA SNAP (version 9.0.3) and ESA S3TBX (version 9.0.3).
- Supports V2022.3 OCSSW release tag.
