NASA's Ocean Biology Distributed Active Archive Center (OB.DAAC) released the Sea, earth, atmosphere Data Analysis System (SeaDAS) version 8.4.0.
Highlights of what's new:
- Adds Image Animator Tool: animates across multiple band images, angular view plots and spectrum view plots.
- Adds Angular View Tool: creates band value plot across angular data (view angle, sensor zenith angle, sensor azimuth angle and scattering angle).
- Adds Annotation Metadata Layer Tool: enables metadata and custom annotations (header, footer and margin).
- Adds Soft Button Tool: enables multiple layer tools to be assigned to a single button.
- Color Bar Legend Tool revised to support band-dependent configurations, metadata annotation, and dynamic orientation to scene image.
- Adds GUI processing for Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) NOAA21.
- Supports Mac OS Ventura and the Mac M1/M2 chip.
- Implements a modification of unreleased versions of ESA SNAP 10.0.0 and ESA Optical Toolbox 10.0.0.
- Supports V2022.3 OCSSW release tag.
