On August 31, 2026, LAADS DAAC decommissioned the Version 2.0 VIIRS Dark Target Aerosol collections from the SNPP and NOAA-20 sources. Users may access, download, and use the following publicly available Version 2.1 collections from SNPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21:
- SNPP VIIRS Dark Target Aerosol Level-2 6-Minute Swath 6 km V2.1
- NOAA20 VIIRS Dark Target Aerosol Level-2 6-Minute Swath 6 km V2.1
- NOAA21 VIIRS Dark Target Aerosol Level-2 6-Minute Swath 6 km V2.1
