Description

Contains Seasat-A Scatterometer (SASS) Sigma-0 measurements for the entire Seasat mission, from July 1978 until October 1978, produced by Frank Wentz at Remote Sensing Systems. The data are presented chronologically by swath and consist of the forward and aft values, binned in 50 km cells. For each cell there are 17 parameters including time, location, incidence angle, sigma-0, instrument corrections, and data quality.
