ImageLabeler is an open source, web-based data labeling solution for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). This accessible online tool speeds the creation of large-scale training datasets by streamlining the identification and annotation of events and by easily managing labeled image datasets in an open science collaborative environment. It supports GeoTIFFs and shapefiles, along with the Web Map Service Interface Standard (WMS), and allows researchers to draw bounding boxes over images of any origin.
ImageLabeler was built for use in Earth science by NASA’s Office of Data Science and Informatics (ODSI), formerly the Interagency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT), at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
