As data from the Sub-Mesoscale Ocean Dynamics Experiment (S-MODE) project are made publicly available through NASA’s Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC), the S-MODE science team invites users to attend the first S-MODE Open Data Workshop. Participants will learn about the S-MODE mission, its instrumentation, and find out how to access and use its data products.

Featured experts include Tom Farrar (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution), Frederick Bingham (UNC-Wilmington), Erin Czech (NASA's Ames Research Center), Victoria McDonald (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory), and Jack McNelis (NASA JPL).
