IMPACT team members will be involved in over three dozen oral and poster presentations, sessions, and town halls at the upcoming 2023 American Geophysical Union conference (December 11–15 in San Francisco, CA). Many of these activities will highlight how IMPACT teams and projects are involved in Earth science data stewardship, coordinating the satellite observation needs of federal agencies, and developing valuable partnerships with private organizations. See below for details about when and where to join IMPACT team members at AGU.

IMPACT’s Analysis and Review of CMR (ARC) project will also present a poster detailing preparations for the full release of PyQuARC, an open source library for Earth observation metadata quality assessment. The poster will be displayed on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 8:30AM — 12:50PM PST in Poster Hall A-C — South (Exhibition Level, South, MC).

Finally, stop by the same poster hall on Monday, Dec. 11 from 2:10PM — 6:30PM PST to learn about how IMPACT has cultivated partnerships with private organizations to advance open source science initiatives.

You can learn more about IMPACT via the project website.
