Presenter

Diane Fritz is an associate scientist working in the User Services Office at the National Snow and Ice Data Center Distributed Active Archive Center (NSIDC DAAC). Her background in geological sciences and geospatial technologies helps her assist people in using the NSIDC’s datasets in their research and projects. Through her involvement in OpenStreetMap US, in teaching at the University of Colorado, and in running mapping meetup groups, she has had the opportunity to interact with a wide swath of curious data users.
