NASA Earthdata and the Global Hydrometeorology Resource Center Distributed Active Archive Center (GHRC DAAC) have released the Atmospheric Vertical Observations of CO₂ in the Earth's Troposphere (AVOCET) TC4 Version 1 dataset. This collection contains airborne atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO₂) observations acquired by the AVOCET instrument aboard the NASA DC-8 aircraft during the Tropical Composition, Cloud, and Climate Coupling (TC4) campaign.
The dataset provides vertically resolved CO₂ measurements used to characterize atmospheric composition and support studies of carbon cycling, atmospheric transport, and validation of airborne and satellite remote sensing observations. Data were collected during the 2007 TC4 campaign period and are available in ASCII format.
