Land, Atmosphere Near real-time Capability for Earth observation (LANCE), through the MODIS Adaptive Processing System (MODAPS), released the second of two VIIRS Day Night Band (DNB)-based datasets. This daily moonlight- and atmosphere-corrected Nighttime Lights (NTL) product is called VIIRS/NPP Gap-Filled Lunar BRDF-Adjusted Nighttime Lights Daily L3 Global 500m Linear Lat Lon Grid.
