NASA’s Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System Distributed Active Archive Center (LAADS DAAC) released the Level 2 Dark Target Aerosol version 2.1, which improves upon its predecessor, version 2.0. The Level 2 Dark Target Aerosol products provide satellite-derived measurements of aerosol optical thickness (AOT) and aerosol properties over land and ocean. It delivers spectral AOT measurements and their size parameters over oceans every six minutes globally.
