The Advanced Visible and Near Infrared Radiometer Type 2 (AVNIR-2) was a sensor on the Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS). AVNIR-2 was equipped with a 10-meter resolution sensor designed for observing land and coastal zones. It was part of the ALOS mission from 2006 to 2011.
