For 30 years, the Alaska Satellite Facility has provided consistent, high-quality access to Earth observation data acquired from space and from air. From a single antenna taking its first satellite downlink in 1991, ASF has grown into a multi-antenna NASA satellite ground support facility and a NASA Distributed Active Archive Center (ASF DAAC) with over 13PB of Earth observation data available to download.
Content from all Earth science data sites are migrating into this site from now until end of 2026. Not all NASA Earth science data will appear across the site until then. Thank you for your patience as we make this transition.
