This night time image shows Hurricane Willa approaching the west coast of Mexico. This image was acquired on 22 October 2018 by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument, aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi-NPP) satellite. The image is a night time image from the VIIRS instrument's Day/Night Band using enhanced near constant contrast.
