Delivery of Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite data products will cease on November 1, 2026. Data users should transition now to alternative products from NOAA-21 and NOAA-20.

Image of the Larsen C Ice Shelf calving in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica. The calving occurred sometime between 10 - 12 July and the resulting iceberg is called A-68 (center of the image). This Brightness Temperature image was acquired on 23 July 2017 by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument, aboard the Aqua satellite.
