NASA Earthdata GIS (EGIS) services are scheduled for planned maintenance and system updates during the week of August 31 through September 4, 2026. During this period, the EGIS portal and its services will not be accessible.
These updates will change how users access the service. Following the maintenance period, EGIS service endpoints will use updated URLs, with the server portion of the original URL changing from "image", "gis05", or "gis01" to "portal" for all services.
