Due to the lack of tile related granule metadata fields in all Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Version 6.1 datasets, searching by tile for these datasets is not available in the DAAC2Disk download manager hosted by NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC). Users still have the ability to search MODIS tiled data products by shortname, Version ID, and bounding box. LP DAAC’s DAAC2Disk utility is available as a script that can be downloaded and executed from the command line. Alternatively, users are encouraged to use NASA’s Earthdata Search or the LP DAAC Data Pool. NASA’s Earthdata Search provides an easy way to search for and download any data product from the LP DAAC archive. It can also be used to generate a list of data links to bulk download data from the DAAC2Disk utility.
