Volga Delta, Russia and Kazakhstan

True color corrected reflectance image of the Volga Delta. The delta, occurs where the Volga River drains into the Caspian Sea and is located mostly in Russia but also in Kazakhstan. The image was acquired on 4 May 2020 by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument, aboard the Terra satellite.
