True color corrected reflectance image of a dust storm in China on April 19, 2023. This image was acquired by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard NASA's Aqua satellite. Light brown dust and sand is evident in the center of the image. The dust can be seen moving from the Taklamakan Desert in Northwest China and blowing to the east. View the dust storm in Worldview.
