NASA-ISRO SAR (NISAR) Mission Science Users’ Handbook - second edition The NISAR Science Users Handbook was first published in 2019, offering an introduction to many mission science and applications objectives. The second edition was released in October 2025, shortly after the July 2025 launch of the satellite. The revised handbook reflects the evolution of aspects of the mission, while providing new information and expanded descriptions of the science and applications enabled by NISAR.
